PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: September 7, 2026

1. OVERVIEW

"Psych Ward: Night Shift" ("the App") is a free-to-play 8-bit browser and mobile game that includes an optional tip-jar and a gated walkthrough. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect and how it is used. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

  • Account information: When you register or sign in, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google, the provider shares the email and name associated with that account.
  • Payment information: Tips and walkthrough purchases are processed by our payment provider (Wix Payments). We receive a transaction identifier and the buyer's email for fulfillment, but we do not store full card numbers or other sensitive payment details.
  • Usage data: We may collect anonymous analytics events (such as which screens are viewed) to improve the App.
  • Technical data: Standard server logs, including IP address and device type, may be retained for security and abuse prevention.

3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

  • To provide and maintain your account and game progress.
  • To verify tip purchases and grant access to the walkthrough.
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or abuse.

4. SHARING OF INFORMATION

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help operate the App — such as authentication, payments, and hosting — and only as necessary to perform those functions. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.

5. DATA RETENTION

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which removes your personal data from the App. Transaction records may be retained as needed for legal and accounting purposes.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can delete your account directly in the App's Settings page, or contact us using the information below.

8. SECURITY

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

10. CONTACT

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact the App owner through the app's support channels.
